Handheld electronics is a common name for mobile devices. Handheld electronics includes personal digital assistants (PDAs), such as Palm Pilots or cellular telephones with connectivity to a network such as the internet. Due to limited size of this machines developers of this system and applications face many challenges. For example, a PDA is typically about 5 inches (130 mm) in height and 3 inches (76 mm) in width and it weight less than 0.5 pounds (230 g).
Due to this limited size, most handheld devices have a small amount of memory, include slow processors, and feature small displays (generally touchscreens, in order to save the space and weight of the keyboard).
Based on computer placement was divided into 3 categories, namely desktop, laptop, and palmtop. For the desktop is clear we all understand that in place on the desk, laptop with a prefix of a word that means laptop, it means that computers can be in lap. And palmtop with a prefix of the word “palm” which means hand, meaning a computer that can be handheld.
Then the PDA is also similar to palmtops, and even referred to as hand held computers because of its small size allows to be brought only with 1 hand only.

In its development, the term “laptop”, it seems more popular in the call by the term “notebook” because this computer can be folded like a book or magazine. And “laptop” become irrelevant as more people work with the laptop in place on the table rather than put it in his lap, except the condition that no tables.
Notebook lap too long can be dangerous, because the temperature or the air that caused the computer is very hot it is in limited circulation causes the air to the notebook. To this effect a few vendors provide cooling accessories that were placed under the notebook.
